Prof. Emeritus Ir. Dr K S Kannan
Dr K S Kannan was professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and is currently the National Project Manager for the UNIDO-GEF project ‘Industrial EE for Malaysian Manufacturing sector’. Kannan graduated with a B.Eng. in mechanical engineering from Universiti Malaya, M.Sc. (Technology) from University of Manchester and Ph.D. from Universiti Malaya. He is a professional engineer registered with BEM, Fellow of IEM, Fellow IMechE and Fellow ASHRAE and a registered Electrical Energy Manager. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of energy, being involved in national/international energy projects and consultation.
Mohd Iskandar Majidi
Iskandar is a Principal Consultant and Director of Climate Plus Sdn Bhd with extensive experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency fields. He is a graduate in Marine Engineering from Newcastle University, England. He is a registered electrical energy manager with ST and certified Energy Management Expert (UNIDO). He has been providing consultancy services in energy management and energy audit over the last 15 years with main focus on energy sustainability and carbon footprint reduction.
Zaini Abdul Wahab
Mr. Zaini is a Registered Energy Manager(REEM) with Energy Commission, a certified EnMS Expert by United Nation Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), a Certified Trainer by HRDF and an elected as committee member in Malaysia Association of Energy Service Companies in 2012. He is also a registered consultant with Asia Development Bank, a facilitator for EE policy workshops by International Energy Agency, an expert trainer and consultant in Industrial EE Improvement for Malaysian Manufacturing Sector by UNIDO from 2012 and was member of Board of Judges for Asean Energy Awards 2011. At Energy Commission, Mr. Zaini was instrumental in the implementation of Efficient Management of Electrical Energy Regulations 2008 and involved the preparation of the application process and the evaluation of applications to become REEMs. In the same time, he was also one of the panelists for the interview sessions in 2009 to 2010. As a REEM coach, Mr. Zaini has conducted coaching workshops and personal coaching sessions since 2012 and has helped many candidates to apply and passed the interview by Energy Commission to get registered as REEMs with his guidance and tips. Mr. Zaini has been engaged by more than twenty clients from manufacturing and building facilities that affected by the regulations for compliance and to develop energy management system at eac facility.

Ir Kumarason S Kandiah
Ir. Kumarason is a graduate in B.Eng. mechanical engineering from UTM and also holds a Master’s degree from the same university. He is a registered professional engineer with BEM, registered Electrical Energy Manager with ST and certified Energy Management Expert (UNIDO). He has more than 10 years working experience in Energy Efficient Design and State of the Art Control systems. He has wide experience in conducting professional energy audit, energy retrofit, design concept that details potential savings with performance & feasibility studies particularly in ACMV systems.
VTR Dharmarajah
Mr. Dharmarajah is a registered Electrical Energy Manager. He specializes in commercial/industrial facility system energy efficient retrofit and experience in conducting measurement studies, energy audits and feasibility studies. He has wide knowledge in installation and design of energy management (instrumentation) control systems for ACMV and compressor systems. Dharmarajah is a graduate in B. Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering with Energy Management from City University London U.K.
