MAESCO is pleased to share that its President, Ar. Zulkifli Zahari was invited to deliver an Energy Talk in conjunction with the Operational Excellence Week organised by Fajar Palmkel Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK). The session was held on 19 August 2026 at Fajar Palmkel Sdn Bhd in Rawang, Selangor.
During the session, Ar. Zulkifli shared insights on various topics relating to Malaysia’s energy landscape, beginning with the effects of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) on the environment and an overview of energy sources in Malaysia, including renewable and non-renewable energy sources.
The presentation also touched on the current energy scenario in Malaysia within the global geopolitical landscape, providing participants with a broader perspective on developments and challenges affecting the energy sector. Ar. Zulkifli further highlighted Malaysia’s Net Zero 2050 aspiration and the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), as well as current initiatives related to Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Malaysia.
Through industry engagements such as this, MAESCO continues to promote energy efficiency awareness, knowledge sharing and collaboration with industry stakeholders, while supporting Malaysia’s energy transition and sustainability agenda.
