The Registered Energy Manager (REM) Training Course Type 2 is an advanced professional development programme designed exclusively for Registered Energy Managers (REM) seeking to maintain their registration and enhance their competency in energy management. The course focuses on practical applications, emerging technologies, regulatory updates, and industry best practices to support continuous professional development and compliance with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024. Please Read & Understand Below Requirement Before Applying:
The requirements to become a REM Type 2 are as follows:
- The applicant must have been a Registered Energy Manager (REM) Type 1 for a period of not less than one year and holds a valid practicing certificate;
- The applicant must demonstrates knowledge of the requirements of the Act and Regulations that satisfies the Commission; and
- The applicant must have successfully completed REM Type 2 training course and assessment recognized by the Commission;
- The applicant shall successfully complete REM Type 1 training before completing REM Second Type training; and
- The training certificate for REM Type 1 or REM Type 2 shall be valid for only five (5) years from the date of the training completed.
